Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on February 5 1964. Linney is an American actor best known for her ability to portray powerful characters that are vulnerable. Linney was raised in an theatre-loving family, with her father Romulus Linney writing plays. In 1986, she graduated in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City. In 1990, she began appearing in Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded praise for her performances on Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
