Laura Linney

Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best well-known for her powerful but vulnerable character. Linney was born into a theatre-loving family. Her father named Romulus Linney was a renowned writer. In 1986, she graduated at Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City 1990. She immediately began performing in shows on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her roles as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
